Time lapse capture of the lift in action.
Welcome to Optimum Trajectory Photography.
Working with a mix of media and digital capture technology to create images of the landscape through to portrait work, from cutting edge High Dynamic Range colour images and large scale panorama's to atmospheric black and white. Internationally published and exhibited, just as happy in a small local gallery.
Why Optimum Trajectory? Well, some time ago I read “The Men Who Stare At Goats” - Jon Ronson. Bit of an oddball true story of a US Government funded Army unit. I wont go into too much detail, other than to recommend it as a very good read.
Most of it is unimportant to this site, except for the following. It describes how in finding your optimum trajectory, you will find your life actually becomes far calmer, and you are at one with yourself. Basically, just stop swimming against the current, and let lifes river take you where it wants to:
“Have you heard of Optimum Trajectory before? Your life is like a river, Bob. If you’re aiming for a goal that isn’t your destiny, you will always be swimming against the current. Young Ghandi wants to be a stock-car racer? Not gonna happen. Little Anne Frank wants to be a High School teacher. Tough titty Anne. That’s not your destiny. But you will go on to move the hearts and minds of millions. Find out what your destiny is and the river will carry you. Now sometimes events in life give an individual clues as to where their Destiny lies”
Arty farty? Maybe, but all I know is that it works.
I hope that you find the work on here; the images and the blog updates to be interesting. They are moments from my life, captured and relayed, and best summed up in my first exhibition title,
”This Is Me!”
